The check is free and needs no account. The trial is 30 days, with no card.

What it does

Plans on paper are not enough. Plans on every phone are.

VenueReady keeps the whole job in one place, in plain English, for venues with a small team and no security department.

Write your procedures

Answer simple questions about your venue. VenueReady writes your evacuation, invacuation, lockdown and communication procedures for you.

Put them on every phone

Invite staff by link or QR code. Their cards open even with no signal. Press and hold to alert everyone on shift, and see who is safe.

Keep the records

Log briefings and drills with who was there, see who has read the latest cards, and download a records pack whenever you need it.

How it works

Ready in six steps

Most venues finish the first four in an afternoon.

  1. Check your tier

A few questions tell you whether Martyn's Law applies to your venue, and which tier.

  2. Add your venue

Exits, safe rooms, assembly points and a photo of your floor plan.

  3. Write your four procedures

The app asks, you answer, and it writes the cards your staff will use.

  4. Invite your team

Each person signs in with their mobile number. No passwords to remember.

  5. Brief and practise

Run a short briefing and a drill. Everyone says how clear it was.

  6. Keep it current

A checklist shows what is done, and a reminder prompts your annual review.

Martyn's Law, in plain English

What small venues need to know

What is it?
The Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025, known as Martyn's Law.
Who does it cover?
Premises where 200 or more people may be present. Venues for 200 to 799 people are in the standard tier.
What does the standard tier ask?
Tell the Security Industry Authority about your premises, have simple public protection procedures (evacuation, invacuation, lockdown and communication), and make sure your staff know them.
When?
Expected in spring 2027. The date has not been confirmed yet.

Not sure if it applies to you?

Our tier check takes two minutes and needs no account. It tells you whether the law is likely to apply, and which tier.
